Actor & Teaching Artist
Some of Danny’s favorite shows to perform in the Pushcart repertoire are: Stone Soup & Other Stories, Velveteen Rabbit, A More Perfect Union, and A Season of Miracles.
Danny Sims is a multifaceted actor, director, creative and teaching artist based in New Jersey. He is a graduate of Montclair State University’s department of Theatre & Dance. Danny currently serves as a creative board member as well as the Director of Creative Vision for The Actors Studio of NJ, a non profit professional theatre company dedicated to exceptional theatrical experiences.
Danny has been seen on stages around the state such as The Growing Stage, Centenary Stage Company, Plays in the Park, and many more community and regional houses.
His work as a teaching artist with companies such as Pushcart Players, Practically Dramatic, and Stageworks Studio has inspired his love for bringing arts education to the communities of New Jersey and working with people of all ages to ensure that this important work reaches as many as possible.
In addition to his work as an advocate for arts education, Danny has performed on stages as far as Anchorage, Alaska with Pushcart and is excited to keep bringing smiles, laughter and lessons to kids all around the country!
