Jason Pumarada is a NJ/NYC based actor, singer, and voice over artist who is excited to begin his first season with Pushcart Players.

As an actor and singer, Jason got his start playing a street singer, belting out 50s and 60s hits for the NYIT Award-winning production of Balm in Gilead at T. Schreiber Studio, where he is a proud alumnus.  He has performed throughout northern New Jersey, most recently working with The Growing Stage, Children’s Theatre of NJ, appearing in productions of Bunnyboy (Skip), Dr. Suess’s The Cat In The Hat (Boy), Disney’s Beauty And The Beast (Beast), and numerous staged readings for their New Play-Reading Festival.  Favorite stage roles include: RENT (Roger), Evita (Che), Murder Ballad (Michael), The Fantasticks (Matt), The Wild Party (Black), The Little Engine That Could (Cargo Train).

Jason has also emerged as a rising voice over talent, most recently completing narrations for two feature-length documentaries, The Story of Nintendo (Available on Amazon video now!), and The Story of PlayStation (coming soon).  Browse YouTube and you might even hear him narrating your favorite channels!
